thats pretty good. but i was just wandering why you had two similar frames built into two similar bikes.
no offence meant
It's ok, they've both been built like that because I'll be racing 2-3 times a week for the next 5 odd months, so they're built with parts that are going to last and aren't too expensive to replace when they wear out/break. I'd rather have force all season than red for 2 months, break it and put a rival on there because I spent all my money on a red rear mech at the beginning of the season.

The truth is you'd have been better off with full Rival on both bikes from the start. The performance difference is all but non-existent, and the weight difference is about as much as a modest sandwich.

My current bikes to finish...
I made this for my mate nico, frame £40 of ebay, everything lese I had kicking around, I really hated the frame though when built was surprisingly nice to ride...really really nice beater.
the New Zeus...hhmmmm can't wait the headset that came with it, turned out to be as clean as a whistle (weird french threads)so less panic than I thought, have bits for it already.
alsoand then the condor now sporting black it looks stealthy and nice, just needs screwing together. (ignore the seat height)
freshly painted benotto now has campag headset...I put it in, in the wee hours of this morning.

Put on the SLR from Joe1983. Don't know how my rear will like it over the Flite yet.
Sorry for the dark photo. -

It's the Syntace Stratos 200. A bit expensive, but worth it!

Where did you get yours?
They are the only bar I've seen with that shape so I imagine the price is worth it. The backwards sweep looks very comfy.

new chainset fitted.
campy record 165, and 49t TA chainring. Feels very strong and light on first impressions. Also drilled hole in toptube through seatstay, to attempt to remove loose rattling splatter braze, just need some superglue now.
It's getting there...Nice bike. Pedals are very funny ha ha but what are the actual pedals you use on it?

I got mine on German Ebay. Alternatives are Starbike.com or Syntace.com. Your'e right about the backsweep. Very comfy indeed.

i was planning on swapping my beater pedals to this chainset for the mo, but when removing them, the previous owner had cross threaded them,
so i wasn't going to attach cross threaded pedals to my new cranks (hence the current odyssey pedals). cheers -

Just get some proper pedals on there soon, looks like you can't use foot retention on them.
