Pretty doable, especially with drum brakes, they're made out of awesomness.
I learn to hate my V-brake, I never realise how unpredictable rims brake are until I tried drum brake.
edited - was referring to Rascal post on the other page of his garage bike.

Maybe pop a chain on there perhaps?
And other brake levers (and cables of course).
Maybe even another bottle cage and italian tyres.
Don't forget to put the rear QR lever in a more good/nice/safe position. -

Hey guys, I'm looking for a bit more advice on my build. As some of you will have read, I have splashed out and bought myself a new frame (the John Major, bought from Object), and I am now building myself up my dream bike. It won't be to everyone's taste, I know. What I would like to know, is other peoples opinions on bars I should run with on the build. I was thinking Cinelli's but am not sure. Any ideas are welcome
Parts bought So far:
Grey 531 Track Frame with Undrilled Chrome Fork and CK Headset
Silver Open Pros on DA 7600's
DA 7600 165mm Cranks
46T Shimano Olympic Chainring
DA Sprocket 14T &15T
DA Aero Seatpost
Hatta BB
Nitto Track Stem (already owned -90mm deep drop, maybe Jag can't remember) should this be replaced for a Shimano one at a later date?
MKS RX-1 Pedals with black MKS Double StrapsJust writing this down makes me tingle with excitement. I can't f@cking wait build this up and start riding it!!! If only shipping from Japan had a next day delivery option!!! Thanks in advance for your help!
Music to my ears. Can't wait to see you riding it at HH.

Cheers Guys. The wheels should be arriving tomorrow but I still haven't bought any bars. I think I'll go for Nitto b-125' s. I like the drop on my track stem but am not super flexible so the shorter drop on the b-125's should suit me better. I'm hoping to have it finished next week. Will get pics up ASAP.

I'm very keen in getting the 127s
Defo not to everyones taste, but feck taste.
They has anatomical skillz. -
• #21863
They're as deep as the b-123's and I'm afraid my gut will get in the way if I'm too bent over. I'm not the leanest of lads! ;)

I thought the 127s were an inch shallower than the 123s... Or is that the 125s?

I've got some 123s that you can borrow to try out if you like, It's only fitting, they've been on it before.

Cheers Em, but I've just ordered some 125s from Outspoken Cycles. They should arrive by Monday.
Just need tyres and tubes now. Oh, and grips/bar tape. -

Original Ciocc Mockba 80 road bike with panto'd Super Record.Virtually unchanged since being built and raced many years ago.
Not sure yet if anything will be updated.
That's a beauty Dwayne. I'd change the tubs if it were me though, and bin the Contis.

Hi, thanks for everything i have learnt from you guys, from the months of lurking ive done.
I have just got my frame back from renovation, its (obviously) an Argos and made of fillet brazed Columbus AIR, tear drop shaped aero tubing.
here is the frame, wheels and chainset:
The Photograph makes the frame look black but it is actually dark racing green (in natural light anyway) I have a record headset and a centaur BB in the post so completion is not far away.
Thanks again, heres a picture of the headtube (sorry about the large images):
