    Cool ! :D

I already own a white rim and white hub (several!) - but now that they are making white spoke I can go the whole KKK route !!

  • It's funny, the only reason I didn't take the stickers off was that one of them has the name of the wheelbuilder, some guy in Oxford, on it. But you're right, they should come off really.

    who built your wheels?
    nice btw.

    Racist

  • It would be a shame to respray it, try and keep some of it's identity.
Are you planning to convert it? Because those dropouts aren't going to allow much adjustment.

No I'm no fixed gear / single speed rider, I like my bikes to have derailleurs on them :)

I still love to read londonfgss though, because of the DIY-ethos of the people here and the emphasis on bike aesthetics.

Regarding the look, the paint is really chipped on the other side and bottom of rear triangle, plus there's rust here and there that I cannot remove without further damaging the paint.

...And I much prefer the supercorsa look to 90's sparkly purple :D

The chipped paint on the bottom of the rear-triangle reveals some chrome which I'm hoping to find on the top as well. I really love the chromed rear-triangle look, wouldn't want a bike without it now that I've seen it :P

    nice btw.

Rikki at AW Cycles, 110 Henley Road, Caversham, it says. I bought the wheels off Countrybiker on here - I think he had them built.

  • almost finished the green bean... got my lever on and the bars need cutting down, chain and and we're done!! (graphics to go on later) and black tyres!

erm, if the bars need cutting down, why did you tape one?

  • to see if the tape could reach the stem???, if so, no need to cut

  • gonna have a quick ride first to check, but reckon 2 inches off will be spot on... will have a quick spin tomorrow and see

  • hmmm. what shall I do with these....?

  • ask fiddy for advice on a carbon build

I think I have a spare used BB for that. I'll have to look. It's ISIS right?

  • I've got a set of those. The graphics on the side smudge after 20 minutes riding. Excellent cranks though.

  • I have an english bb for it (yep it's isis) but no frame yet! So no idea whether the bb will fit the frame..

  • She's done.. Time for her to go.

  • Bang! That's sweet essbee...

  • steal-ninja HHSB

  • is that a dent on the downtube?

  • steal-ninja HHSB

More Dark Knight than hip-hop, plus I've never been a slave to anything

is that a dent on the downtube?

    Yup.

  • was that frame on here for sale a while back? different colour scheme

  • was that frame on here for sale a while back? different colour scheme

    nope

  • really nice, essbee. what frame is it?

  • Are they tubs esbee or did you paint the alu sidewall?
Nice btw but I'd have put black pedals on too, and changed the saddle

  • Fuji Track Pro
    Pedals are black MKS.
    Clincher rear, tub front

  • If you were going for a stealth look then MATT paint would have been better than gloss.
