braker have you thought of dropping the top tube at the front a bit to form a near triangle rather than a square? pegoretti do this to limit the number of spacers and keep the front stiffer.

Yeah I do have some road drops but they looked odd to be honest. I left the stem that high as I was worried of cutting the steerer tube too short. Its a 130mm stem, I will get a 90-100mm I think and see how it goes.
not as odd as deep track sprint drops look with hoods placed there!
seriously, the reach is huge because of the bars, even deep drop round bend road bars will bring you back by at least 20mm.
and they can't be comfortable to ride the hoods, or are you always planning to be on the drops?

Planning to mainly be on the drops. I took it for a short ride and it wasn't too bad.
Any bars you could recommend?

If everyone was as tall as me, that bike wouldn't look so odd.
I am as tall as you, and I ride a 62cm c-t.
To be fair though I should be on a 64cm c-t.

The FSA ones look alright. Maybe those with a shorter stem, I will leave the stack height though. I will get the stem first and see how it feels. If no good then I will get some bars.

That´s always a fecking issue with my frames, I´m 6´2" and can´t ride anything with ct bigger than 57cm, otherwise the seatpost has to go too much inside the ST. Short legs for my height.... longer torso.
My ideal frame would be ct.56cm tt.59cm.... and for that I fail to find them available unless custom. Am I wrong? -

or some shallow/compact road drops?

the cinelli Giro D'italia drop bars are short drop... and lovely too.

Doesn't your front Raceblade knock against the fork bridge as you ride?
...and the rear knog get covered in road-shit?
it doesn't since it's pressing against the fork bridge enough not to make any rattle, so it's fine.
as for the rear light, it doesn't actually, the mudguard just about prevent it from getting covered.
i don't know if they have been invented, but someone really should make hand rests for front brake/no brake bikes with out the ugly lever, or just covers for handrests with lever removed so that they have cleaner lines.
nah, it look better with the levers, look nicer than a deformed leverless one.

agreed. Swap the track bars out for road bars, drop the stem down a few spacers. You don't have to cut the steerer yet.

Brilliant!
I'm curently using a pair of Ambrosio Campione del Mondo in a Cinelli stem. Those would reduce my drop (by a considerble 20mm) without needing a new stem. The deeper drop is good for roller training, but I will keep these in mind for the spring :)

ambrosio bars are copies of the cinelli, so either will do just fine.
Shop 14 stock them, haven't seen them stocked anywhere else. -

my current project is a Bianchi Pista with a 3Rensho fork. the photos of the frame are on the respray gallery, but here's one:
Nice paint job.
But: Why put an amazingly beautiful and well built fork on a piece of shit Taiwanese frame? -
• #18195
its just a fork, and it looks good, and goes well with the frame, so why not.
-
• #18196
Because the frame is not good. Would you put phils on a unipack?
-
• #18197
...some people would
-
• #18198
P.S.
its just a fork
Its not. Thats the point.
-
• #18199
it is just a fucking fork... get over it.

I had that feature in the original design, but for some reason didn't carry it forward. I have just emailed off measurements for the following and won't be making any further changes.... beacause they won't let me.
Seat tube 60cm ctc
Effective top tube 61.5cm
Saddle height 89.6cm
