  • like lots

  • @kingcutter
the first thing that i would have changed would have been a nicer chainring to go with the cranks. i like the other seatpost you had too. still though, nice bike, i'd definitely ride it.

  • tilover, I absolutely love that... really original build and it completely works IMO. I want a go. Nice one.

  • Tilover - Niiiiiice!

    thanks!

it will have a brake and grip tape and probably a slightly shorter stem but pleased to have a bike that isn't so 'gate' like - it's a 62cmsquare geo wise but i think it gets away with looking a lot smaller - i want to ride it now!

  • There you go, simples!

Great minds and all that! ;-)

    Lol
I know I know to be honest I want be riding the Bob Jackson in Winter so it will be hung up on the wall in my Barber shop,so for that first pic will look ok.

  • Tilt your Bike looks very nice

  • The NOS Peugeot's on the back burner (if you remember that one) - it'll be built up geared with Shimano 600 Arabesque bits when I get my shit together - so this is the runabout at the moment. Another Pug, because everyone knows Peugeot conversions are teh bestest.

Pretty much all the new bits are as cheap as possible... Stronglight Mygal chainset & BB, a set of those £30 On-One hubs on Open Sports and an On-One sprocket and lockring. Bike was £50 off the 'Bay.

    After:

(Disclaimer: saddle angle and chain tension were sorted after I took the pics.)

  • Tilover - that looks heavy!

Love the way the sadle, brasing and tyres all go.

    What are the tyres btw?

  • Are you guys fucking serious? That thing is beautiful!

I'd be more than happy hanging it on my christmas tree.

It does look a bit like a candy cane.

thanks! it's gonna get brass graphics too - it weighs in at 7kg, (bout 15.5lbs)
light than my condor before anyway...
    the tyres are NOS vredensteins

  • Thanks for listening ;-)
    I like it.

Did you know you have a similar bike in the garden?

I know you guys dont like to match colours but I think the Fizik bar tape looks ok.

  • @ Tilover, good stuff! Where did you get the clearcoating done?

congratulations!! you've picked the only drops I like for a track bike!

  • I'm needing a track chain for a bike which will be ridden with a chain punishing 100 gear inches (or there abouts). Is the z510 still the prefered chice for herne hill?

I ride this chain at herne hill approx 86 GI. Good luck pushing 100 GI round HH.

I'm getting ahead of myself saying 100gi :)

I'm going to start with 50/15 which is 88gi, and then i'l up that as i get used to it.

Just for informations sake, if you plan on going to the track, everyone* at the track works out GI based on 27" tubs, so if someone says put 88, that would be 49x15.

48x15, 86GI is a good place to start unless you have done a lot of road racing or something before.

(100GI will be no use unless you plan on stayer racing)

  • 46x19 ftw.

  • 46x19 ftw.

Maybe ftw in the special under 66GI class

  • Ended up with enough parts for three complete bikes again.
Latham finally has a nice wheelset of its own. Campy record to Wolber Profil. Plus came across some nice Cinelli Pistas.
Vivalo is just being used for track this season. Wish I had some tubs for her.
The Cecil Walker just looks weird as usual.

Looking good Sean, love them all.

Got almost all the components i need

This is going to be great.

couple of things changed on my lo pro and built up a volume cutter (Crazy james' ex love interest) for messing around and tricks.

    Nice bikes.

    thankyou for kind words people.
track is in manukau. south auckland represent n shit

    Good fucken man!!
