If thats single speed with front brake only then it's a big nono from me. Doom and gloom awaits.
Not overly keen on the bars but the frame, components and rims look pretty nice together to me.
Needs drops, clips and fixed and it would be very wonderful indeed imho. -

nice clean bike bro, don't worry about one brake on a ss, it's better than no brake at all on a fixed.

^ I like the saddle/seatpost and cranks.
What's the frame, Condor?

Look like it's a Condor Classico Pista with custom job, which frame-only bring it near £900-1000.
I recently discovered that £800 only get you an OTP Condor Classico Pista, no custom geo or anything.

Well, considering the amount of nice parts I have found in that sort of places.. Shamal wheels, new tires, lots and lots of new top quality chains, cassettes, chainrings, rims, etc... I actually should spend more time in that sort of places.. :) Saves me a lot of money.. :) and I get stuff I would normally never buy, like that oldskool aerobar.

Ed, there are one or two similarities but I am led to believe it is a frame from the mid 90's, originally tipped for reynolds tubing but then told it may possibly columbus. Is there any way I can get it verified?

Comments?
Lovely frame and great build (except the Elizabeth Duke rims!).
The handlebars probably would feel better rotated back a little and the lever tilted downwards... and loose the valve caps natch. And the tyres are too modern looking (although I know they're good).
Tidy.

Oh it's a 2nd hand frame after all, it does look like those brand new Condor Classico Pista with custom job, I saw an almost identical one in Condor not long ago in silver.

Acor... They look similar to the Paul levers but cost twenty quid. Prefer them over crosstops.

i've got everything almost, waiting on seatpost, stem and seat bolt (which i need to find! 2" M8 anyone ? ) then i'm done. oh and some drop bars, preferably cinelli criterium, if i can get hold of any decent ones. I'm in no rush, just taking my time...

Nice one, looking forward to seeing it.
I have some Criteriums you can have for a good price, they got cable grooves but it gives them a nice shape IMO. Red Cinelli bartape already on them. 25.4. They are 67/42's
What size is it? Do you really, *really * need a 'cross bike?
