Yeah pics arent great.

Spoks look great on the back when skidding IMO.
Is that your 1st fixed build?

If you're only having one aero wheel, and it's a 'spok, it's gotta be on the rear IMO.

Its my third

I do it more for the look. I like the bike to look heavier at the rear.Plus you dont see rears that often most people go for the front spok

Picked this up today, Gazelle Champion Mondial Cyclocross. Not really sure if I'll keep it this way or make it SS.

But it just strikes me, you have what could be a really really nice stealth looking bike...
and then,wANk!!.. a pink 23c Gran on the rear (brakless) and yHELLO!! chain... why?

Looks cool when skidded but I disagree.
On a fixed drive chain you need a strong rear wheel, with a good hub. A plastic wheel with a glued in hub on the rear which itself is not of a very good quality wouldn't be my pick of a rear wheel. Spoks are better on the front for Performance, not that you'd get a spok if performance was anywhere on your check list....

Been a while since previous post here. Finally got the black cranks and ring I've been searching for, and moved to a skeleton Veloce front brake- pretty much there apart from a possible change of wheels in the future...

Nice bike red chain ring bolts are a good touch

Cheers Johnny. Credit to the previous owner for the red bolts... (thanks Gabes)

...but with a laidback sp and bended ss it looks like your bike has been crushed by some giants foot!! (God,that sounds dumb!)
(looks noice ; ) -

@ JapeS
Nice Katana, the rim anodising will rub off at the brake surface so if you wanna retain the stealth look and have a sweet stopping power consider ceramic open pro rims. Nice build.

I'm hunting some black Phils for the new wheels and then it's decision time for the rims.

I will cry a tear of joy and jealousy if Dylan did that himself.

I would seriously consider the ceramic open pro rims. they are £££ but well worth it.
On the rear you can get whatever. I still reckon the humble black deep v looks slick. Maybe go for Velocity Fusion if you can find some?!

Fusions are pretty cool. I'd go double CD Open Pros, they are good if you use a rim brake but also look really nice.

@ JOHNNY FITZ - when looking at that visp of yours, first thing coming to mind was "dark winged duck" cartoon :) bike looks good however IMO
on "jazzy" colors choice - please (and i'm really just asking nicely here) explain, why exactly green/yellow + pink? i mean, couldn't you go with something a tiny bit more coordinated?
thanks -

I run the brake for 'emergency use' so the rim doesn't see much wear... but I'd prefer to run something that performs better in the wet for just that reason.
Fitz: Looks better in real life!
