I like the barber's pole seat tube.

It's very nice bar the wheels. I'd change the bar tape though(t), to match the saddle.

Gorgeous frame KC, but as you said yourself, those wheels need to go!

Picked this up today. Was quite a change from my Fuji Track! Fucking loving it even though I haven't even properly set it up for me yet.

Silver wheel set with gum walls and that saddle would look fine.

The frame is gorgeous but there is too much red and frankly the brown saddle just don't go - first lose the coloured chain ring bolts - they never look good - build up a pair of classic wheels - campag record hubs to match your record cranks - and some lo pro rims - for tyres simple black or gum wall will do - you probably could get away with a red saddle and red half taped bars - but I'd probably go for black saddle and bar tape - the thing is that that barpole stripe is so eye catching - the bike does really need anything more than a set of tasteful classic components - you wouldnt be the first person to build a bike up then strip it down and build it up a different way

I'm not overly keen on the Brooks so that's going to go eventually. I've always been keen on the Nitto Pursuit bars so now I've got a bike that they'd look suitable on I might get some and ditch the Profiles. Obviously going to lose the gears once I can afford it but for now I'm quite happy riding geared.

Need advice on the conversion ideally, I have no idea where to begin. Some thorough reading of threads is in order.
