Yep, I've seen that after I placed my reaction.
Seat stays are different from (other?) Supercorsa's.
Still a great bike though.

This is what DMC told me. It is an Olympic Pista which predates the Supercorsa Pista. Apparently it was the last Olympic frame that Cinelli made out of steel and goes back to the early 1990's hence the C-record pista group. This one was bought new in NY in 2000. If anyone has anymore info on these frames I would be very interested.

I've posted in this thread before, but have just recieved my new Halo Aerorage wheels, and really want opinions on my first build/puppy kill.
I also have a question : Can you put any axle on any BB ? I have a French thread Sugino BB with the wrong length/type axle, and would like to change it. Do I need to get a new BB or just swap the axle ?

do you think yellow tape is going to look over the top? what do you mean by getting the tires right?

i am neither into pink tires nor deep v rims etc.

any constructive critique? its a late 90,s bike and i want to keep it period looking.

I've always wondered, is the barber pole painted or a decal?

Moss Green Pearl (no. 51) with White Enamel contrasts (no. 22).

The main colour (i.e. white here) of the pole is painted but the pinstripe lining is a transfer. They used to hand-paint the lines but that took too long and the results weren't as good.

take apart the strap, make suitable template and back with double-sided tape.

you'll need some badass tape to keep that on. i'd glue it on as it's a pretty longterm commitment. make sure you use something toluene based and have a good sniff too.

New shed base complete, now if only it would stop fucking raining.

VO sell a ready made version, I had a strip on the BJ for about 2 days before deciding a chainstay protector did'nt look right on a bike without a derailer (idea was to protect chainstya during rear wheel flipping/removal). The glue was more than strong enougth.
