ok, those are nice bars ,but only really have one more hand position than track bars
two, if you count resting the palm of your hand on the curved end.
hmm, dont get it, i ride down oxford st everyday, ive rode with risers on and track bars, oxford rd is shit, whatever bars youve got on, it made no difference to me
going over potholes with a track bar is something I don't particularly enjoyed, until I got a lovely set of town bar is when I realise how limiting it is riding track drop on road.
netherless it's horses for courses really, if you find it comfortable and fine for riding, who am I to argue otherwise?

Decided to bring my old condor pista out of retirement.
The wheels and cranks I had already, but new bars, brakes and saddle.
Need to put bar tape and a brake cable on, then I am done.

What frame?
Is it one of those Saracens off Ebay?no but it is one of those saracens off freshtripe - it'll do me for it's intended use... winter knocking about and riding canal paths.

@ Lessmann:
The white bike looks nice.
I would just turn the clamp of the seatpost 180 degrees. Put it on the backside of the post.
And the stem a bit deeper.
But if you like this position, you shoul leave it as it is. -

Its a picture of your bike mate not a bloody salgado. How is everyone supposed to know (judge) what your bike is like if they cant even read the decals?

Nice bike! the one thing i would change is the stem.... a standerd old style quill stem would look good, thats just my opinion, otherwise very nice.
the stem, right...
I bought the bike with a cinelli stem on it, but I wanted a riser bar, and even with shimmers the cinelli was still to whide..
Struggling with beercans to shim it and what not, i went for the quick solution - €5 stem on ebay..So it's on the list as to replace but since it works it's been pushed back a bit.. :/ next stop remain straps and i hope jol sorts em out really fast (35th or something on the list :/)
but thx for the big ups yall..

detailed pictures somepages before, this is just a mixture of a bike on a huge wall, which means, it's a nice picture. that's all.
