Ed they look bloody stunning, I'm glad you did the thing with the new cranks/old chainring. Looks perfect.

Literally brand new, 165mm for £150, it's a bit of a bargain methinks, even more so since I got a Centaur BB for free.
The downside is that I'm half a tons away from getting a letter from Barclay that my account is overdraft.

I'll have a pretty shagged front wheel going in 2 weeks time (bearings are pretty crunchy and it's pretty out of true). Shimano something hub on an alex rim. If you are still stuck by the end of the month give me a shout

Good deal! Been watching a few on ebay lately, all seem to go for £175+ especially in 165mm

those are fit Ed.

ta mate, pretty chuffed with it, considering it hasn't even been used.
I wonder if it worth selling the unused Centaur BB and pay an extra £30 for a Phils?

I want a record pista groupset so bad! Thinking that i'm eventually building my Mercian up with full Campag - mainly for Pistanator's approval ;)
All the stuff on the Mercian will be put on my Plume Sport frame... -

Well depending on how busy I am at the time I'll give it a go at truing it a bit. I'm no wheel wizard though so it's not going to be perfect.

I use those cranks with a Centaur BB - smooth as a smooth thing that's just been sanded with really smooth smoothing paper. Never owned a Phil BB, but I'd stick with what you've got. Keep it all Campy.

I'd get the Phil to match your hubs, Ed. Will last longer too.

Old campag chainring, which I also got for free, I don't think it'll add up that much, I have a full Phils hubs/cog on the bike, might as well get a phils BB .

I think the best thing to do is to just use the Campag one for now, and if the time come to replace it, it'd be worthwhile to upgrade to a titanium one.

FUCK YES!
Chuck that campy shit in the bin and get a real BB.
Better then everything else in the world put together by far. -

Goddamn Gizmond are those 165? Nice anyways!
Ouch! This skip would make this forum a happy place again
And I'm sorry for the old chap too. If collectors who bought the frames build the bikes, a part of him would be still around to be remembered.
