New wheels (shinier) Chainset (bigger) Pedals&clips (safer) all coutesy of e bay

Costs so far £20.00 enjoyment = priceless

    love it. want.

  • I guess this counts as a project... it's certainly a work in progress. I've had mudguard mounts and a pump peg added to my Steamroller, powder coat at Armourtex including colour matched mudguards and a stem (oversize bars only). It's not finished as I've run out of time before it has to be boxed up for shipping to Australia, but I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out so far:

you must have been inspired by something great by some kind of super cyclist hero. i'd love to meet him. you're so lucky

    ;)

  • Is that next to the Sofa Warehouse, just off junction 24?

Yeah, over on Fixie Avenue in the Fixie District...

  • Is your Sirius the blue one?

It is Blue, but I've not posted pics and its not on ebay.

  • [quote=provenrad;922185]mee too rik!

Epping forrest on Sunday? I'm putting a thread in Rides and races...

  • I have to source some wheels first, hopefully for the next one

You'd like to think so, Tom. But this is something I've been planning for about 8 months... so :^p

Hard on the bike? hardly, the bike is still in perfect nick beside the paintjob.

The Bianchi was in the shed in pieces, until recently I have the spare part to put it together again, right now it's just temporary until I removed the offending stem that's stuck on the BJ.

  • Yeah, over on Fixie Avenue in the Fixie District...

is that near the hammock shop?

  • My new bike is getting one of these:

  • not saying its not been loved, but the makeup does need refreshing !..... still one for my faves !, and i am not gay !

  • I know that's in response to something, but I'm damned if I can figure out what.

  • eds post ?

  • Never heard of Clavicula but I'm sure it's posh stuff.

    Why'd you choose it?

  • Clavicula cranks are some of the lightest out there...i picked up a set once at robertos place....unbelievably light and amazing quality.

  • not saying its not been loved, but the makeup does need refreshing !..... still one for my faves !, and i am not gay !

hah, blame COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) for that, paint use to be a lots more durable (nearly as durable as powdercoat even), but there were certain chemical that are hazardous and recently been outlawed, hence why modern enamel paintjob are more prone to chip nowadays.

The Bianchi look fine as there's no paint to chip.

how would liking my bike make you gay?!

  • David, I really can't wait to see the finish product of the Robin Mather!

  • clavicula sounds like some bone loving vampire.

  • Can't sell the Mavics so decided to stick them on my flyer.

  • lol

  • And you wonder why people slate your bikes?!? :-$

  • i can't believe no one commented on my clavicula pun.

  • Cos like KC's bike it's shit and it's not clever

  • have you learned what apostrophes are for today?
