Nice, some Spanish thing wasn't it?

Drill the head of the allen bolt out then you should be able to save the stem (will just need a new bolt).
-
• #15179
I'm thinking about that, I did have the spare part luckily, the bolt I think is made out of alu rather than steel.
-
• #15180
Even if it's steel just stick a load of cutting compound on there and take it nice and slow, seems a bit of a waste to take a hacksaw to the stem.

I have bought this Gipiemme disc wheel...
...for my harrison tt bike...
...and have some new pedals/cassette on it.I live in flat, flat Suffolk at the moment, so It's going to be single-speeded with a white industries eno freewheel on the disc, and a few other little plans. Will update when it's all built up.
While I'm here; does anyone know where I can pick up a deep section 24 inch (25-520) rim for the front?
Thanks
OMG its another Sirius. I have a Sirius and its the first other one I've ever seen.
Where did you get the pic from? Ebay? Got a link?

I saw a guy on a yellow Sirius at Lewisham one morning....months ago. Anyone?

My work-in-progress beater - a late 60s/early 70s Claud Butler Olympic:
The Cooks cranks are only on there so that I could build it up and have a ride. I'll be replacing anything that's shiny or vaguely nice looking with a dull and preferably rusty equivalent, and I'll be adding mudguards, a rack and maybe some of those massive EverReady lights from the 80's to make it as unattractive and unobtrusive as possible when its locked up in town/at the station.
Will probably still get nicked, though. Fans of delicious irony should no doubt keep an eye on the 'stolen bikes' thread over the coming months.

Mine is Blue.
I'm not totally happy with it tbh, the geo feels weird. May be better when I have better bars/stem. Still working on some combos.

yes, it's actually quite nice, better than the original Cinelli IMHO.
the original unicanitors are far from the most comfy saddles around, so i would have to agree, although saddles are purely personal preference on comfort, no two arse's are the same

Oh naturally so, the plastic on the Selle italia one is a lots more flexy which is nice on the long ride, kinda feel like a Brooks saddle without the need of those metal frame to keep the leather stretch.

Really? I've seen loads on ebay. In fact I bought one (tt frame), built it up, then sold it to porter7474 on here.
They seemed to specialise in making micro-tt frames, with veery steep geo. Mine also felt a bit weird. Really tight clearances, but no overlap, but it did feel decisively unsteady to steer it with low pursuit bars.

My On-One 456 arrived in the post yesterday. It's getting gears.

I've not really looked them up before tbh. Just had a look on ebay. They do all seem to be really small don't they?
Mine is a monster (in comparison) at 23". -

Is your Sirius the blue one?
£25 I think, it's a NOS, not a bad price really, but it's bloody hard to find information about this particular saddle online as it is.
