I might be a n000b, but I'm not a troll or am I?
Fuji Track Pro 2008 - still under construction. I'm still waiting for the tyres and bottom bracket. Seat post was originally brought for my youth's cross, but have to do until I pick up the aero post.

^ Nice wheels, I have them too (so does 50/14). Good value and work great with Miche chanset/BB...

looks good man. i'd get some bar end plug things though. I heard a very nasty story recenlty about a bar going into someone's leg when they crashed. did lots of damage and was not nice at all.

Yeah, I was going to get some tape to go on the bars before the drops start, don't want to lose that shinyness.

I like them too. Much handsomer and lighter than I expected with nice Miche Pista hubs - well worth the price. I think I will leave them and erase them damn Aerospokes from my mind. I'm in two minds if about fitting the front brake, as it would ruin them. Maybe cork pads?
I'm going to fit Shimano Nexus cranks for now (wow, it's going to be loads of cardio - 38/14!), because they're cheap and perhaps later on stick on bigger Miche chainset, but have to do some paid work first.
Saddle is Sella Italia SLR - hope my arse will not hurt much. Stem is a budget Ritchey WCS and some cheapo aero Alu handlebars with carbon wrap and Deda tape. Tyres are Continental Sprinter Racing, as it's not a commuter. Will do for now.
I'll post something when's finished

cheers. yeh, never been one for matching wheelsets. just use what i have lying around
i guess at the end of the day it's a pursuit frame with risers, so it's always gonna look odd/ a bit stupidobviously, but if you cover the front of the bike with your hand, and then the rear, there's marked difference in the sweetness factor. I ride a completely indestrucible POS every day, built form whatever is around, so i get what you're saying. Just that with a black rear wheel, it'd be really nice looking.

Nice piece of work. I like to start something similar. Just need the right mixte ladies frame set in a small size, say 53cm max. Preferably 531. Gazelle Semi Race or so.
And I want the Selle Italia Lady Gel with the red roses.
Can anyone help me? (don't send the Ebay link with the saddle for EUR 60.- or so).Like to see yours when it's finished.

Yep they are pretty swish in the flesh. They work OK with a front brake but it can mess up the stickers I guess. I also went through a brief period of aerospoke lust...thankfully purged myself of that.
Couple of people here swear by stripped SLRs...look like gooch-destroyers to me but each to their own!
The Miche Advanced chainset is my favourite chainset so far (although I've never owned Campy, Dura Ace, 75...). Well worth it.

I say that... but I've gone back to my Flite for now... SLR is too bent.. starting to hurt one side of my arse.

My seat is white. If it gets murky who knows - maybe I'll strip it.
And what do you think about that temp setup 38/14? It's around 73 GI if I'm right, but it just looks strange with those two small rings. And I'd have to shorten the chain too...

^ Just go all out and get the Miche Advanced chainset and a larger cog for the back. You'd probably upgrade to it later anyway! Pay once etc...
