either it's really is uncomfortable for you (after all not everyone find them comfortable) or didn't do plenty of adjustment on it?
Ed, I've probably tried a fair few more saddles than you, age before beauty and all that.. ;)
I just never got on with it, hopefully a new owner will enjoy very soon, I'll stick to my Brooks and a collection of early 90's Concor Lights as the saddle's that work for me.

+1
I can´t cope with most saddles, most of all for being using saddles like concor (which works fine for me). -

oh fair enough, I have a lots of saddle and I've reach to the point where I simply can't get comfortable in, Swallow, B17, Rolls etc. I don't know why it's suddenly slowly getting uncomfortable for me, and I'm pretty sure I've been tweaking the position a lots.
I'm hoping the Knife should end that stupid discomfort I have recently.

Ed, have you tried a Selle Italia Flite? Those and stripped SLR are my perfect saddle, just wondering as I don't get on with the same saddles as you, i.e. Rolls, B17...
I don't get on with the Charge Spoon either, but I've never tried a Knife so can't compare the two.

i'm looking at some on ebay hoping to grab some for a fiver or tenner actually! (missed a couple of them recently, one went for £4! if you meant the old shaped Flite titanium), the Charge's a cheap alternative and I used to have them before, quite comfortable, the Knife is exactly like the Spoon, just thinner.

I've got a Flite and boy is that a saddle. Watch the angle though or your balls will tingle.

Yeah I meant the classic black leathery Flite TI. Wonderful saddle, surprising how cheap they go for.
I'm currently looking for a white one for my new frame, rare as hen's teeth by the look of it.
^Bloody horrible!All about this:

Haha tell me about it, it has just that tiny bit of rise at the tip that gets you.

The old 90's flite titanium was a great saddle, couldn't afford one at the time, hence buying a light concor, happily never looked back!

I'm not having the best time finding a 24.8mm seatpost for this and have recently found out that I'm going to have just as much trouble finding a bottom bracket with the correct thread.
If anybody has any experience with building up an 80's Peugeot (not fixed) let me know!

^ Like what max said! -
• #13667
Well obviously! it's the shape I'm interested in, possibly the best bargain if you managed to find it for cheap.

Actually do anyone have a spare Flite they can lend me to try out? it would be useful to see if it comfortable or not before i spend summat like a tenner on it.

Dante, you might want to post a wanted thread about a 24.8mm seatpost and enquire about the BB. Im pretty sure there will be someone out there to help you or done this kind of restoration/rebuild?

That's the one I've got, in a pleasant gray to match my Fuji Track. Titanium rails, got it from Eyebrows for a bargain because of some light scuffing/scratches. Doesn't look bad though.

Ed I've got some spare saddles I don't mind riding for a while if you want to borrow my Flite?

Your bike is soooo nice though. I was drooling at it helluva a lot.

If you can get your hands on a 25.0 seatpost, try shoving that in.
..and by the looks of it you need a French-threaded bottom bracket.

Hardly! It's just a stock Track with different saddle, bars, and pedals. I think you need to see some more bikes.
