Looks nice, but its not useful on a commuter bike. The bike isnt really the best in cross winds, so i cant see a deep rim helping this anymore!

if you go quick enough you don't get any cross winds.

a 50-60mm deep rim on the front will hardly affect your steering

I don't know much about SS, but it looks like might be best to adjust the tensioner so that there's more teeth engaging the chain.
