Yeah... it needs a bit more tidying up... someone on here suggested a sharp knife so I've been using that and white spirit.
Its def a hard thing to perfect, esp as my lugs arent always that smooth, which means you dont have a guide.

i once wanted to outline the lugs of a frame too, but i didn't dare.
it's an old raleigh team professional powdercoated in RAL 1019:the only thing i want to add to the frame are these decals:
the 'RALEIGH' on the downtube the 'TI' on the seattube and of course on the forkblades. that's all. any other suggestions?

As long as you don't write "RALLY" on the down tube ...

decal-photoshop-draft:
or would it be better to invert the downtube decal to simple white text?
-
• #12968
^^ I like the top one.. could you maybe have a corresponding white area on the seattube too?
-

^ +1
... but I think the fork decal is too big - needs to be similar size to the reynolds triangles IMO

Picture on the top is nice, especially when the white on the downtube is painted, not a decal.
The Raleigh letters should be the normal frame color. Again, not grey ink or paint of a decal.
If the white is going to be vinyl, the letters can be cut out.Do you already have the EPS file?
Just found this link:http://www.brandsoftheworld.com/search/98562100/2897.html
Didn't know it was that easy to get those logo's in EPS format (not only Raleigh, but lots of others also).
But I doubt if they're all 100% correct. Are you going to use this as some kind of headbadge:

Lower!
Almost in the middle of the s/tlower now:
and longer:
i prefer vinyl decals, so if something goes wrong, it's me who's going to be held responsible for that. paint would definetly look better but...
there will be nothing printed, all cut out letters / graphics.
i rescued the original headbadge. the eps is made by me, because of the possible incorrectness of free available eps graphics. thank you for your suggestions! -

after a cup of coffee and staring at my screen endlessly i figured out that:
it will be f*cking difficult to wrap the vinyl-decals around the down- and seattube without causing any overlap!solution ⤵
