  • yup, a design fault...

  • really? i always thought those looked shit hot when i was a nipper...

  • even though it's a cross country design, as soon as you stand, ie; going down a hill it locks out

  • It's probably best to just let me have it, then you won't have to decide how to build it up. What size is it?

  • Well, now you've got me all confused.

I thought this was a friendly forum that handed out tried and tested advice to naive newbies with a cheery smile and a comforting arm round the shoulder, before sending them on their way with a teary eye as you watch them cycle happily into the sunset.

Turns out it's all spok dorra HTFU UTFS WAC pukes on cock.

    I think I like it.

  • Run, while you still can.

  • It's probably best to just let me have it, then you won't have to decide how to build it up. What size is it?

It's 56cm ctc. Can you pick up from ... HEY, WAIT A MINUTE.

  • what's the top tube length again?

  • 56cm ctc also.

  • fnckmesideways, geekhouse paint jobs are the toughest i have ever come across. gonna need about a ltr of nitromors, the blasters said they wouldn't be able to do it.........plastic coat, so the beads bounce off. and if the power is turned up, there is a big chance of damaging the tubes.
    grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

    Try stripping a Klein!
I'm on my second litre of nitromors stripping an Attitude frame.

I weighed it before stripping 1533g, currently 1457g and still have the rear triangle to do...

  • 56cm ctc also.

perfect, i'll pick it up tomorrow.

  • Long arm dual pivots should do

Or you can find old long arm alloy sets at Jumbles .

  • perfect, i'll pick it up tomorrow.

    Ok ... HEY, WAIT etc.

It's almost a bit too lovely. I'm not going to be able to lock it up anywhere. It was kind of an opportunistic eBay purchase - I was watching it and ten minutes from the end no-one had bid on it at all, so I slapped a bid on and won it for the starting price. Seller reckoned I got it for a lot less than he'd paid for it. Nice when that happens.

  • Hello guys,
I finally finished my BJ. :)

you should never abbreviate Bob Jackson!

  • Update on putting gears back on my old Carlton...

Got the frame back from Armortex and spent the day trying to pick out the lugs with Rover touch-up paint from Halfrauds...

... some of its ok, some bits not. But from a distance I think it improves the look.

Also ordered new tires and orange cables. Still trying to work out what to do for the bars + brakes.
