Oh, and smallfurry, personally i'd run a singlespeed chris king hub with 5 cogs from a regular cassette....run your centre gear as your regular singlespeed size...then 2 pretty low ones for extreme ups...and two pretty high ones for extreme downs or getting to the trails via the road.
You can then ride it pretty much like a singlespeed but have bail out gears should the terrain change dramatically...also means you can set your chain so that the rear mech is nice and tight on the biggest cog and not flopping around on the smallest. -

I think the Mash frame will always have it's critics because of what it is and where it's come from.
Still can't decide what hubs to go for, I like the look of the Chub hubs and recon they would go pretty well with a darkish grey rim or black rim. Was originally thinking of high flange Phils.
Spacers are there for a reason as well, never ridden it yet so not sure about positioning, I can and may cut more of the steerer tube off.

The Chocolate Donkey is one step nearer completion... :)
Front brake (makes a change)...
Fork mounted bottles...
]Mission control...
Saving space with my lights...piggyback anyone?...
Next faze is to finish the frame bag and gastank bag....then design and make the saddle bag.
Oh...and some SKS raceblades too for a dry bot bot. :)i love seeing the changes this bike goes through from a normal bike to a poo bar deluxe to a tourer supreme

Scott's bike makes me hungry for chocolate, I love the bottle holders at the side, but how comes your handles are like that if you dont mind me asking? Is it because it helps you to lean forward from the hips?
The centre extensions allow you to be really aerodynamic but rest your upper body more due to the arm rests..so that if you're doing a lot of miles you don't waste so much energy..the end bar ends are for cruising and climbing.
