That's rowdy. Priest-bar clones and it's sorted

so this happened.. never thought i'd be able to find one as they seem to be rarer than a ctrack, but got lucky on ebay (ad title was full of typos and pictures were 20x20 - seller was communicative and info seemed good, so pulled the trigger)
slapped on my trusty flite and a pair of kojaks for the test ride. tomorrow it's rival hrd time :)

What year is this from? Presumably way ahead of its time back then...

• #116358
slate from 2005 :) i wanted to add a lefty (as someone already did) and slatify it, but will keep this as is and put the modern gruppo on.
it's really hard to find a pic of it and it's not in the catalogues (at vintagecannondale.com)

Gravel disc youngtimer, very niche! Build plans sound good, with the lefty this will be a very weird & cool bike.

ha, yes
won't put the lefty on as i'll have to sell it to fund a car project.
will keep the wheels (cannondale wind hubs on open pro), the fatty (1" travel), add compact bars and the sram gruppo.
this will be the city bike on kojaks and the cx bike on knobbies

Looks cool.
Dibs on bars if it doesn't work out for you. -

Have you tried a bit of hairdryer to soften the glue? I had some horrible ones on some mtb rims but they lifted straight off with a bit of heat.

Thanks & noted.

Yeah probably a good idea. Think I will desticker them.

Haven't touched this in almost two years as it's been hanging up in my parents' garage, but popped home this weekend and went for a spin. Ohmigod still so good.

thanks - your cx served as inspiration. i wanted something steel with discs, but my attraction to dales did not let me stop my search.. so my day-one has to go. i think i'm becoming the #saarfofcannondales ;)

Hey guys,
Currently working on this.
It originally had a U brake on the underside of the chain stays. Do I have to put another u brake on or can it be something else?

New frame day, here's my new daily for this year :
Looking for a promenade bar with a 26mm stem clamp diameter... Any ideas? or I might be selling the Salsa.

XX1 etc. chainline for 135mm is 49mm, I'm actually using the 52mm chainline Boost version of GX1000 on my 135mm 1×10 MTB and it works fine.

Ok thanks. The largest rear sprocket is 36T so I'm hoping it won't grind too much in that gear

The largest rear sprocket is 36T
Same here. I'm guessing your chainstays are shorter than mine* (420mm), which will make a bit of difference. With your narrower chainline, the departure angle from the big sprocket will be the same as mine if you have 404mm stays.
*hmmm, having looked at it, probably not, if you leave the sliders all the way back. You'll be fine.
