don't all bike lights come with fittings to attach to the seat post anyway?
Not really the point though... you can't say that doesn't look so much more beautiful than some plastic clip on light...

This is my current project:
Not sure about the radial front, but you cant have the Chub built any other way imo.
Also not sure about the saddle/position and the bars... risers drops or bullhorns will all go.Rear rim is a Rigida Dp 18. Not a velocity. (note too self: take velocity sticker off now)
Where's the frame from, set you back a little? Lovely bike btw.
Edit - just seen it on 14bikeco. blog.

Cheers.
I was there (looking for campag parts) but with my beater. Only finished this one at the weekend.
I like that it's all Italian. Unfortunately pedals and risers may have to be Japanese for the road. At least if I started going to the track it could be all Italian.
Nice mate. I like a lot.

1979(?) Guerciotti track
had it repsrayed dark grey gloss. NOS decals.
campag record/mavic wheels
campag record seatpost
campag headset
campag record pista cranks and bb
aero gran compe brake
cinelli 1R stem
cinelli 65-40 bars
cinelli volare saddlesince photo i've stuck on some campag pista pedals with campag clips and brown odge double straps. may stick my mks touring pedals and plastic clips on though as they're more comfy. or get some mks stream.
think the stem is too short for drops. may stick risers on anyway, for the road...and ftw. got some nittos, so will need to shim.
add more/better photos when i get hold of a camera.
That bike is bloody lovely. Well done. for me that is bike porn.

Just finishing this one off now, got a few bits left to do to it. Its got some fuji track bars on it now, and I'm getting some new pedals for it when I get some money, maybe some MKS's, not too sure whether to put power grips or toe clips on it yet.

yay. new tyres and changed the thomson to a layback aero... this is finally getting there, meant to have been riding it tonight in a TT but 25miles in this wind felt a bit much!
p.s note the alternative stem and bars for summer days cruising

Damn those are some good wheels you have on there ;) How are they holding up?

Just finished my Gios build, but needed to get it on the road so it isn't 'finished' finished. Will probably get some white bar tape and a white saddle at some point, plus matching tyres, some spd's, and perhaps rebuild the wheels onto some Mexico 68's in the future instead of the Firs it's currently on. It;s got a full c-record groupo including hubs, brakes, derailluers, shifters, levers, seatpost etc

Nice rides from Bobob, fresh and andyp. And Scrapper! I saw my first real live Scraper Bike this morning, on Leonard street, black and red and making funny noises....
My little boy's gonna be riding with me soon - on his very own Dave Yates... the lucky sod! He got too big for the child-seat thing. This just arrived in the post, including garish 80s paintjob, a fancy head lug, cool adjustable stem and some fillet brazing to boot!:
