  • Probably toast.

  • Talkin of seafood - last night did seared squid with lime and chilli. Red chilli would have been better for presentation, but could only lay my hands on an orange. Nom tho

    where'd you get the squid dude? i want your dealer's number.

  • i had cockles and laverbread for the first time last night, on a piece of oat bread with smokey bacon. it was fantastic why i haven't tried it before i'll never know

  • Pulled pork, had bit of shoulder in the oven for 10 hours (got up at 3am to put oven on) at 100c = amazing. Falling apart in the pan it was really had to get it out onto a chopping board to pull apart.

  • Lust! How you servin it?

  • By the fistful, straight into the mouth I hope.

  • Roast chicken, with balsamic roasted new pots and salad. For me and the lil bro.

  • Inspired by Nhatt's BBQ friends on the South Bank I give you home made Southern bread and butter pickles. The perfect match to BBQ meats - salty, sweet, sour, and spicy.

    Leftover liquid to be used for pickle back shots, natch.

    what do you do with (quite a lot) of leftover home-made bearnaise? will it keep? can i use it as a lubricant? how awesome am i for having made it so silky, foamy and sexy in the first place?

  • Bernaise does not keep at all well. Prone to splitting, and becoming bacteria infested.

    Cook another steak and finish it.

  • I've done a lot of cooking recently so tonight I've had a chicken dhansak and what-not delivered from my local takeaway, not 200 metres away.
