That just reminded me of this for some reason:
"What I do is sometimes get a tin of soup... Heat it up, poach an egg in it, serve that with a pork pie, sausage roll."
Darkplace is amazing. Snuff Box is better though, in my opinion.
And so onto food. I have a properly ridiculous appetite, I've been dared to eat crazy amounts of food before and have always finished. Whole packs of spagetti + 500g of mince bolognese ect. This however, is a killer.
Halve a baguette down the middle, butter liberally.
Cut up a hell of Brie, slap that on top of the baguette.
Cover the brie in honey, a fair amount but not loads.
Stick under the grill on a medium heat until the brei melts and the honey caramelizes.
Put that shit in your mouth.I discovered this whilst really stoned in southern france, in literally the most idyllic place in the world. A tiny tiny village which looks like it's been there for time immemorial, next to a HUGE lake. It is the most perfect place in the world.

This week, after the marathon last week - i have eaten my own bodyweight in food. Anything and everything has gone down my throat, like a man possessed...
My favourite this week has been jacket potato, with pesto mashed into it, with strips of parma ham (or bacon also mixed into it. Put the two halfs of spud together again, and eat like a sandwich. oh yeah... -

Madeleines.. from Waitrose..
the same ones that Jay and Vee offered me on a forum ride (Brighton or was it Camber Sands?)
They're more addictive than good coke.Oh I remember, I bought them when you guys did Camber Sands. I didn't even keep a madeleine for myself.
I brought some carambars on the vintage jersey ride. They were very popular.
And I gave you some marrons glaces (candied chestnuts) on the Christmas ride.
I will need to think what French delicacy I will bring on the next ride.

i enjoy the sugar rush paired with the alcohol kick at the end.I am lying in bed with a jar of peanut butter and a packet of hobnobs. It is EXCELLENT!
I do need some help however as its far more complicated than anything else I cook.
So...
- Crunchy or smooth peanut butter (I went crunchy)
- PB on chocolate side or biccie side? (i went biccy side)

biccy side? a surprising choice. which side is then the top? or does it spin wildly forever?
-
• #474
Well, Im doing the biccy side and then had that as the top. Its really good.
Hang on, I'll try the other way...
