  • Is he the guy who runs Pied a Terre?

  • Hungry? Eh? After five courses? Okaaaay.....

Nah, he's from the last series that has recently finished. He does private dining at the mo (very reasonable too), and currently looking to get some work in a restaurant somewhere, also doing bits of work ins some really fancy London places.

  • nice menu

  • pavlova and passionfruit FTW... perfect

Mhm! damn I should stop reading this thread late at night/early morning, makes me hungry!

  • I have the same issue working on global time...late night/early morning with enormous cravings :/

  • Tell me about it, since dinner at 8 i've had: A bowl of frosted shreddies, 4 baby bels, and a slice of matzah

  • Ive just had a tom thumb with peanut butter and mashed banana but all I can think about is that Lamb & Cous Cous followed by pavlova, mango and passionfruit .. yum!

  • What is a Tom Thumb? Are you in a different timezone right now or just an insomniac?
All these questions and more, answered on next weeks episode of......"The Food thread"

  • A Tom Thumb is a small bread roll...

Im on the same time zone and working- ... just finished a conference call in NZ where its 2.30pm on Monday afternoon...got to love working on the global clock :/

  • sheep's head from iceland:

i'm yet to try it but my girlfriend is icelandic so can get some sent over from relatives hopefully!

  • haha never heard a bread roll called that before, so is your mean machine going to be ready for the next curry ride? I'm thinking June probably.

  • ^ absolutely, It will be more then ready by then. Looking forward to it!

  • suddenly, my craving for lamb has subsided :/

Really need to rep the following thread from the Cambridge sub forum. Huge potential!

  • For breakfast...Eggs Benedict with a twist, hollandaise sauce had lime in it, really refreshing, made the sauce alot lighter

  • please can i have some?!

  • ^ was really yum!

its really easy to make and fills you for the whole day... omit lemon for lime

  • eggs benedict is my all time favourite breakfast. I'm off down the shops.

  • I just had the most delicious ham and cheese croissant from Franze and Evans on Redchurch st, there food is just awesome, anything you get in there is yum, and there cake selection is unbelievable and quirky to, weird combinations of indgredients that shouldn't work but just do!

  • Fresh Pollack and Mackrel for dinner tonight. Cunningly lured to there deaths less than an hour ago.

  • Half a dozen oysters - i suspect the final one was not good. This is bad news 4 hours before a plane flight.
