My parents are coming down in 3 weeks and want to take me out for a 21st meal, there'll be 5 of us, theyre staying near old street im in camden so somewhere near either or inbetween.
I suggest buen ayre as i went there before and liked it but my brother doesnt like steak(????????)
cant go to an indian unfortunately.. any other ideas, budget is unlimited but nothing insane..
Duke of Cambridge close to angel? Never had a bad meal there and the restaurant bit is nice if you want it to be a bit more formal. The pub bit tends to be full of 35-something guardian readers though

other than Bills and Inside out - what are other good brunch places in Brighton?
I'm struggling to recall.

Dunno but let me know when you find out. I've barely ventured further afield than Mr Wolfe and Coffee@33
There's a place that's opened up on Trafalgar Street called Bread and Milk - not been in yet though but apparently it's quite nice?

Supreme pizza burgers...
Going to have to get some Toulouse sausages as you can't get what the Yanks call 'Italian Sausage' over here.
They do look very bad for you... :-D
Recipe below.

Don't be ridiculous. Toulouse sausages are nothing like Italian Sausages. What we call Italian Sausages are Tuscan sausages and include some chili but for the most part the flavour is from the fennel seed. Fennel and pork are a classic combination from Italian cooking.
Toulouse sausages - red wine, smoked bacon and garlic - would not give you the same outcome.

On train so forgive abbreviated sentences.
After cooking four stage chicken last Sunday and having top sandwiches this week, finally got around to making soup late last night (started at 2am).
Brought carcass up to simmer with bouquet garni for hour or so.
In other big soup pot, put a load of quality butter, quartered onions and halved shallots in on high heat just to colour, then low heat with lid for twenty mins.
Removed chicken and left to cool down.
Picked off meat, shredded it (something I dont normally do )
Sieved stock into onions and butter, added splash of olive oil and seasoning.
Added chopped potatoes, carrots, parsnips, swede, topped up stock with a little extra water to cover it all. Left on low heat until 4am.
Had a bowl of goodness.
Still got about 5 litres left so when I get home this avo will decide what to do with it all.

You can get them all over the place, I used to buy mine at Terroni on Clerkenwell Road 'til they closed down (reopened now?)... You can also get them at the Portuguese deli/butchers on Atlantic Road opposite Argos...

Can anyone recomend somewhere good to grab foot this late on a Saturday, anywhere Victoria/Westminster or within 20min walk of there? Something casual, I'm leaving work and picking up other half at station - just want a nice bite before heading home.

20 minute walk would get you to Soho. Victoria is nomansland at this time of day.
