  • I saw a very short woman (she can't have been more than 4'6") ride a Raleigh Twenty today. The saddle was down as far as possible and she had to reach up for the handlebars. The bike didn't fit her at all.

  • This is confusing teh fuck out of me, double exposure yes?

I didn't shoot film until the end of last year. I prefer medium format photography over anything but couldn't afford the money to buy and process the film and the time to scan and retouch the negatives/transparencies.

What still deeply upsets me is that you have to spend four figures on a digital SLR that would do the same job as a used £50-£100 film SLR from the 80s.

    triple!

  • you just blew my mind dude

  • Do you know where I might be able to pick one up for cheap? I've had a search on the bay, either £50 for a hunk of rust or £20 in a good condition to pick up only from outside of London

    bumtree

  • ^^ had a look there as well, nothing about. bigbadad sorted me out with a contact for one but he said only for around £100. There are a couple on ebay which are cheap and I just realised not to far away from me.

  • Decided to start using my dads old Asahi Pentax ME.

Can anyone recommend a cheap flash to buy?

  • u can try a flash mixed with a high iso Film.. remember the bigger the iso the more sensitive to light the film is.. so iso3600 is great for indoors, gives a nice grainy texture to the pictures.
Where pan50 film is all so nice for Long exposures over 10seconds.
    My 2pence worth!

So guess I'm palying at the weekend.

  • anyone have a M/screw mount lens they want to sell/trade? Would be looking at 28mm/35mm/40 > Leica/Voigtlander/Minolta/etc. Got a 35mm f1.7 Ultron that I may trade or sell.

  • Recently got a Canon EOS 650 with a 35/70mm Canon lens passed down to me, never used a film camera before, really looking foward to using it. I don't know anything about camera's really, is this a decent bit of kit?

    Looks pretty much like this

  • any camera is plentiful enough to shoot some films.
