It's an electric view finder, so just has a hinge. Would be harder to do for SLR's
I've seen similar things on oddball russian SLR's, and of course hasselblads and rolleiflexes

Took a punt on a spares/repair Nikon FA on ebay.
It works! really pleased. Having a proper viewfinder is just so nice compared to the XA. Just need to find a battered old 50 1.4 now.

Awesome. Love cameras in that condition.
Was actually kinda gutted the FE I picked up at auction recently was in such good condition, it'll take me ages to get it looking like that!

Me too, it was only £30 too.
Pretty sneaky but the top plate is actually plastic but painted so it 'brasses'

Anyone want to buy a Nikon F80 with the extra battery pack? (that means you can use AA batteries) I've probably got a spare lense you could have with it too

Anyone here have a Fuji Instax? I have one.
I never had a Polaroid so can't compare the film quality, but its fun in what I imagine is the same way.

A few friends use them.
Seem pretty wank and expensive IMO.

Any thoughts on this? I like it but I'm not sure

It's got some Cartier Bresson going on but it's a bit busy and not quite there. Some really nice qualities but a bit too much going on.

I like it. Some distracting compositional elements around the edges of the frame. Also, the "Give Way" sign is almost too obvious or too much of a central theme - like it could be used as a stock image for an ad campaign about fuckin heart disease or something. Shame its not in chinese or russian or something. I realise this would spoil it for chinese and russiuns but fuck them.

Has anyone had any experience with Kodak Plus 125 B/w film?

^ been meaning to try that but its so expensive. I expect it'll be similar to the traditional look fp4 has which is really nice.
Dunno if this has been mentioned before but anyone tried modding their XA2 to do infrared flash photography?
I'm going to give it a go soon. Flash without the flash - Like what this guys done: http://www.kpraslowicz.com/2009/11/29/infrared-flash-photography-with-an-olympus-xa2/

This gentlemen just took my pic a few horus a go at Clapton Sq! :D
http://www.stevenbarritt.com/blog
It may take a while, if he does upload a pic, but it put a huge smile on my face. He said he randomly asks people if he can photo them. It put a huge smile on my face as I walked home, but I know the pic will look bad, I don't like being photographed. LOL.
I am not sure what camera it was, but it was a film camera.

Has anyone learnt anything or used the facilities at Chats Palace? Would love to process my own film but I think I need proper guidance before I go down that route.
Also, I did a tumblr. Apologies in advance for any dupes.

like the bottom one!
How does the attachment in the below photograph work? Kinda like a periscope I presume? And can you get one with, instead of an eyepiece, a small screen - kind like an EVF for video. So I could hold at hip height and just glance down to check framing for more candid shots? (Also for M-series)
