Wasn't one of the new Plusteks supposed to be pretty good for the money?
I think my brain is too slow to be dealing with over/under exposing shots on the fly. I just do what the meter tells me to do.
Just set your meter "wrong" - ie if you have a reel of 200iso and want to overexpose half a stop - set you meter to 160ISO or 100ISO for a full stop.

Cracking photos. Into the night is ace. I do love a bit of HP5.
Sorry, this has probably been done to death but where do you get your B&Ws processed/scanned? Looks rather tidy!

Okay, i have a problem with a camera i used, the film won't rewind, it doesn't have an manual rewind, what can i do to get the film back in the canister?
this is the camera, it's a piece of ****
the lens is plastic, i was just curious to see how the pictures would come out -

Go into cupboard, close cupboard, open camera, remove film and wind into canister by hand, exit cupboard.

Very nearly got my mate's SQAi off him with lens, metered prism and speed grip for £250. He decided against selling it in the end, gutted!

I managed to get mine, body and lens, off my old housemate for £150. Had to really train myself not to look smug about it...

Speaking of 120mm film cameras my grandfather gave me this a while ago, i've never shot 120mm before, would it be 'worth' buying some and shooting with it, or does anyone here want to take it off me for a little $?

Seriously pondering getting a scanner. Has anyone used an Epson v700? It seems to get good reviews, and is modern enough to run under osx with VueScan. Or would I be better off with an older but dedicated 35mm scanner? I've no need for a normal scanner, all I want to do is to get better results than the minilab without spending a fortune
