  • ^ c41 scan and dev is 2.99 at that place on Fashion Street, my latest stuff is from there, just as good as anywhere else

  • I'm in Scotland. . .

  • post them to me, i'll drop them off, i'll post back? I work 5 mins from there and will drop off my own rolls there soon anyway

  • I'm more than paranoid as I have less than no idea what is on half of the films! Will keep it in mind though.
What's the res of the scans? jpg or tiff?

  • jpg, 72dpi, 1544x1024

    original size scan here

edit: that's ektachrome 320 btw, so is grainy to start with

  • Pretty decent - amazing for the price. I probably will take you up on that at some point. You also get the bonus of getting perve on my photos before me.

  • busted!

  • kernowsibley: lovely!

    nef: thankyou!

    kboy: thanks!

  • I have a few films waiting, gonna try Fashion St, keep meaning to and forgetting... do they do B&W too?

  • some new stuff up

Is the place on Fashion St called Eyeculture? Been meaning to check it out...

  • Eye Culture, thass the one. I keep wanting to call it Fashion Eye, but I know that's wrong.

  • @hoefla, that was the one for me too.

  • How quick is the turn around for the place on fashion street? My colour film has been building up since the asda near me stopped doing dev + scan for £2

They do but send it away to a pro lab, think they charge £7.99 for it, +- £1. Takes about a week since it's posted off

2-3 days for colour I think, not sure

  • if you shoot more than 1 roll of B&W a month its worth getting your own stuff.

you only need a tank (generally free or £2), chemicals (£8 dev + £7fix will do 50+ 35/120 films), a dark place, a sink, a bottle opener, cloths clip and washing up liquid. :) Then anywhere can just scan the uncut B&W neg, even asda

  • Yeah i should do but i'm hella lazy! Actually i don't normally shoot b&w and just have 1 waiting - it just escaped my attention when i posted the others to you, same germany trip. Prbly no more b&w for best part of a year.

  • Check this oot:

    Mate of a mate.

  • A few more from my A35f shot on Relia 100. The scans are pretty poorly done at home.

    • Gyllyngvase Love *
  • 2 and 3 are supanice.

  • yah, lovely stuff

  • Thank you.

I'm loving this camera at the moment but the seals have turned to a sticky mush so need to get those cleaned and replaced, electrical tape does the job for now though.
