lower fi than decks would be necessary in a park that is true.. but then sound systems tend to draw in other people - and generally speaking then it becomes less safe
If you wanted to do an acutal sound system then we'd run into issues no matter what park was being used.. unless we were having a "private party" and we're too late to get a TEN licence.RE:loos - Depends on which park we go to. Boys are ok anywhere, us girls will need to find a close friendly. LF has C&Mutton or LondonFields pub. Vic Park has The Royal..

If we do use my barbecue then I need some chicken wire to block some holes in the grills; if not careful sausages seem to fall through but chicken and steaks and shit like that are okay.
Anyone got any spare?

I think victoria park is a good idea. Loads of room to play around and its easy to get any where from plus we have a few pubs close to the park.
-
• #232
You would. I agree by the way.

Right, seeing as the Chug_It bbq isn't on the ground and therefore won't implement a scorched earth policy, the answer may be to find a park somewhere. Last 20 minutes to add you 2p.

Personally I think park is a bad idea for a large group, it just attracts the wrong sort of attention. C&H or GA2G's garden option, in no particular order.

How transportable is CHUG_IT's BBQ? ?
Could it come to the park in a trailor / Car ? -
• #236
We can sort out transport for the beastecue

I can potentially offer trailer services for the bbq - if it doesnt melt through - and depending how big it is. I vote for C&H or GA2G garden, I agree that parks attract the wrong attention, and we can't really have music.

Will this help make people's minds up? Not cast in stone, but The Computer Says......
http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/businesstraveler/tenday/UKXX0085?from=36hr_topnav_businessMind you, if the light rain described is the same as the non-existant light-rain we witnessed today, it might be a pretty good day.

tommorrow it'll say it's going to rain frogs, then the rivers will turn to blood, clearing up in the afternoon though.

I'm also erring on the GA2G / Pub idea. However I completely indecisive today.

pub.
not interested in parks (esp. in the east) people can hang there anytime, problems with piss/drink/food/other people.
-
• #243
pub.
toilets, music, big bbq, choice of premium chilled booze, no skag heads and kids wiv blades, and not forgetting rain friendly.
edit: nobody has to organise too much. -

So where are we raging this weekend?
-
• #246
It won't be a Catford garden bbq, as that offer wasn't taken up. So the 2 options left are the pub (late notice?), and the park.

i'm with VanUden!
parks are to open to twats and the rogers! if someone can spare the space i do think a garden would be better!! or even a pub!
