It's this Sunday at the C&H. They made us an offer we couldn't refuse. Been in a brain killing meeting this morning. Going to eat some food and I'll put up a new post about it.

We were talking about this last night. All the bikes locked up on railings at the Fixed Mag party, just before the Bridges ride. After the mag party most people went home.....ey?

Sheet! I'd better get preparing chicken. Are we going to be using CHUG's mother of all BBQs?

Yep: Saw gazillions of bikes leaving Hackney and assumed the Bridges was gonna be massive. They missed a great night.

I can't make this til later, but deffo gotta show...! Riding down from east about 7ish, might head for polo court first to see if there's anyone coming.

The real reason the hipsters don't go south is that they're scared.

Good job snowy_again. I was becoming a bit downcast. With weather like today, the pub makes sense, but when Sunday comes, it won't matter what the weather will be, as long as the alcohol is strong, and I'm bringing my own rum (illegally imported from Grenada). I'm fat enough to hide it on my person, so should be okay with the pub staff. It will look like water in a glass. 135% proof, minimum. See you ladies there.

Okay people, after much toing and lease related froing, we’ve settled on a venue, time date and other assorted BBQ related goodness. Come one, come all, to the first ever London Fixed Gear and Single Speed Summer Barbecue! That includes all you lurkers, non posters, and noobs, – come down and say hello to your fellow forumengers, put faces to forum names, ogle all the sexy HHSB’s, and ask that question you’ve always wanted to ask but were afraid to because of the probability of flaming. Come talk bikes, listen to good tunes, and eat your very own food.

Bring your bike jumble – to swap, exchange, freecycle or sell. You know you want to. DJ’s provided (and Snowy will PM the ones he’s spoken to about it
We’ve got the outside space, loads of room to lock bikes up, we’ve got the inside space, with DJs and rain shelter, and if there’s too many of us, we can have the upstairs space too.
We know that lots of you will be at Polo honing your skillz, its only a week to the tournament but come along afterwards – you’ll get fed and watered, Polo is thirsty work, we’d love to see you, and for one day only you’ll enjoy the hospitality of the South, and with the crap weather forecast and the need for toilets / music / food, the pub may actually be the best place for us
Remember, this is only the first, of hopefully many LFGSS BBQ’s, so head down South and next time we’ll all head out East if you want to arrange it!
So what are you waiting for? Get that marinade going and lets have us a BBQ...

Don't worry GA2G I've already tested the waters, they are not fatist.

I'm going to head to the shops on the way home tonight and buy up chicken and secret stuff to start the preparations. This will give it 5 nights of marinade time. Woohoo!

Yeah Sunday is loads better... cause i can't make it till 11pm on saturday. and the Sun is out and other things..
