I'm having an issue when browsing the "For Sale" threads - I can't go past the first page of results. Second page says "no results found."
This does happen occasionally.
It's a bug somewhere in vBulletin.
I reported it, and was promptly told that no such bug exists and that it works fine.
I might need to dispatch more rodents.

The one you're referring to is the extension that turns phone numbers into clickable icons enabling you to make the call on Skype. You should be able to disable that through your browser.
Yes, that's the one. I disabled it and uninstalled the programme.

It's a minor character from an obscure 1980s sitcom.

When I edit a post, the last thing I click says VOTE NOW where it should be edit now or something along them lines.
It does on a Mac in Safari, anyhow.

I don't have a Mac, I've no way of testing this. It works in Chrome, Firefox and IE for Windows though.

I've been having a few problems recently with regards to staying logged in.
Quite often I browse the site by looking at my subscribed threads via the UserCP and from there I'll open each page I want to look at in a new tab. Sometimes I'll then get a page telling me I'm not logged in.
Using Ubuntu with FF.

At work recently when logging in on the https it won't let me. Just sticks me back on the home page. I'm having to log in on http. Work messing with me? or a bug?
-

Don't think so, its been happening for a couple of weeks?
-
• #918
It could be fixed by the domain change though.
I don't actually know what is causing the log-outs... I haven't been able to reproduce the problem and haven't witnessed the problem.
I know it affects a handful of people, notably they all access via SSL. But that's all I know.
If it's a cookie thing, then the change shortly will help solve it.

I had a look on my FF preferences (re-installed ubuntu a couple of weeks ago and hadn't changed anything between now and then) and noticed that it was automatically set to start each time in a private browsing session.
I changed that and it's now keeping me logged in all the time.

Relinking the icons to static.lfgss.com has borked them as the security certificate is not for that address. Adding an exception fixes it though.
The lfgss certificate is a wildcard, this allows both www and static to work on SSL and additionally because of the splitting the traffic SSL will speed up.
The problem for today, tomorrow and the browser caches is that as I'm using the same IP address for lfgss that was londonfgss... your browser might still see the old certificate and require a security exception to get you by.

This is exactly what's happening I think - changed bookmark to https://www.lfgss.com but I get the https bit crossed out in Chrome. Quite a few little images aren't loading too?
-
• #922
could this be why i was still shown in the 'current users' list even though i was logged out by the system? i was logged out while waiting ages for a thread to load.
-

Added static.lfgss.com to exceptions and images now working, still not secure but presumably that's because I'm seeing the old certificate. If anyone knows how to refresh it in Chrome shout out.

This has been in the last hour?
Could you let me know the following:
1) Are you using SSL?
2) Did you click the "Remember me" box when you log in?
3) What action were you doing when you got logged out (such as, attempting to go from http to https)
Actually, the "help" article I pulled out is not the correct one - that one refers to the extension that picks up names on web pages (eg. Oliver Schick) and looks to see if they are on your Skype contact list. If they are, it places a little icon next to their name showing their status, and allows you to initiate calls, IMs, etc. from the browser.
