  • I thought I was going mad for a minute, but it looks like the forum's design is changing. Not a big fan of bright background.

  • I like things.
When did the search icon change? I'm probably being slow on the uptake here...

  • I think I changed the search icon on Friday.

Not sure now. Been changing too much to keep track.

  • Now you have changed everything else, the little envelope icons look pretty out of place and ugly to me...

Trying to work out what they represent? Subscribed & Hot?

  • changelog 22/2/12

    • everything
(and I broke it for a little bit)

  • Has the favicon escaped?

  • Has the favicon escaped?

    You want a new one?

Or you can't see the old one?

Anyone who is able to produce a .ico file that works can provide one to me and I'll use it.

  • Oh, that's awesome.

Might actually have to make that change one day.

It's impossible to have a forum argument in Comic Sans, btw.

    I'm just saying.

  • BTW, anyone who wants bolded threads on the home page: CTRL+F5 or whatever force refresh is.

  • He's a hippy, he's always happy. He's just grumblin' because the age of free love passed him by.

    hippy, yesterday:

  • The lack of lines makes me uneasy

    Cokehead.

  • Homepage looks weird without lines... Too bright and happy for this forum.

  • What I actually mean is, I think there needs to be some division between the threads, it's not as easy to navigate as before IMO.

  • More division eh?

  • BTW, anyone who wants bolded threads on the home page: CTRL+F5 or whatever force refresh is.

    Much better, thanks.
Also the UKFGSS really splits up the page and looks cumbersome; if you moved it to below M&M it might be better.
These changes are odd at time because I can see something has changed, and it seems better, or worse, but can't remember what it used to look like.

Also, I have long thought Forum Help should be Forum Technical Help and Testing area, for the sake of clarity.

    More division eh?

    #notracist

  • Also, the Top button would be more convenient if it was under the latest post.

  • It is... it's down there... to the right.

  • Love the top button.

  • It is... it's down there... to the right.

No, I mean right under it, not at the bottom of the page; on the same level as Submit Reply and Preview Post.

  • But post preview only appears if you post. We should not encourage everyone who wants to go to the top of the page to post to get there.

  • After all, who knows what type of inarticulate rubbish might appear if that were so.

  • I think it should be around the same height as New Posts Subscribed Threads (on the right between the Quick Reply minimiser and the page numbers)

it's brilliant though, never noticed until Velocio pointed it out yesterday or whenever

  • ^that's what I meant, got confused scrolling up and down to see what is where.

  • What I actually mean is, I think there needs to be some division between the threads, it's not as easy to navigate as before IMO.

    More division eh?

Division or not division it seems to me there needs to be less space in between. I'm talking for every page; homepage, forum sections and threads.
ATM things are too long to scroll up and down, I would prefer more compact.

    Anyway, that's only my opinion.
