WTF... I meant... if you see Times New Roman in your reply boxes, you probably need to force refresh your browser.

Believe me Cliveo. Just the fact that I can read it makes it so much friendlier. A mate of mine who never got on with due to the investment required to navigate has it sussed and is now able to check the only bit she likes, what rides are coming up.
And yes loving the ctrl+ scroll. This has been hugely educational -

If you're wondering what fontsizes you want, try 0, 1, 2 or 3
0 = 100%
1 = 85%
2 = 75%
3 = 65% -

I'll finish wiring it up momentarily.

I zoomed out and it's perfect at 100%.

85% is perfect for me (Safari, iMac OSX 10.7, 1920x 1080)

I've ctrl F5'd the page a few times and I still have TNR in the reply box.

So I've spent the whole day doing all of this, but if you click the third A across... then you'll be back where you were this morning.
Except, it's now in your browsers default font.

They work, but the cursor doesn't let you know about it - no hover cursor change type thing.

I just knew someone would mention that.

just gonna say that - it's really disconcerting when there's no pointy hand symbol but the links still work!

Excellent work today V. You deserve a few beers this evening! Can you change the text entry box to serif rather than san serif though?
I don't want to change my browser fonts as I need to keep the default firefox, safari and chrome setups for work purposes.
Glad you finally got the text size options sorted. I wonder if it will remember which size I want on each browser/device or if I'll have to change it each time I use my phone or computer?
-

It remembers font sizes using a cookie... so just the local browser.
Meaning that 100% on the phone, and 85% on the laptop will be remembered just fine.
And no... the text input will be sans-serif, as the display is sans-serif. It should vaguely look like what you're going to get.

Also in the very subtlest of changes... I've removed 3 HTTP GET requests from every page.
Even if the files were in cache, this saves going to the server 3 times to find out if the file was modified or not.
Yet another small thing that should make the site faster.
For my next trick (tomorrow), I will attempt to make image uploading actually work the first time you try it.

I'm also getting TNR in IE too and at what looks like a slightly smaller font.

is there precedent for such live forum design?
