Found it;

Realised it required a bit more work than using your credit card and typing it out on the internet but it's a pretty decent solution.

I think my right pedal has almost had it. I'm going to take a look at it tonight to see if I can service it.
1) does anyone know of any particularly good guides for atac's?
2) if anyone has a spare RH (or pair) let me know.Cheers.
Oh it's one of these standard jobbies:

Anyone tell me what the standard length for the bolts for atac cleats is?
I've bought all mine second hand and a lot have come with cleats but no bolts, I used shimano bolts but they are a bit long, i can't be bothered taking a bolt out to measure so anyone know what the standard is?

So yesterday received my new Time Atacs XC2...
Installed them I did a little test ride. Must say that the are fucking great.
Was using Shmimanos SPDs (with Chrome shoes) and lately I had a problem with unclipping while doing whip skids in high speed, which was very uncool and dangerous. Thus, last few weeks I was riding very cerefully and was afraid of unclipping...
Now, with Times I feel again 100% safer just like when i was using Restraps...Will see how it all goes, but so far, very happy!

There's your problem.

not really.. If they cant handle a nice fishtail then they can probably unclip accidentally whilst mountain biking too.

Decided not to service my pedals in the end so if anyone want them give me a shout.
The springs are still in good condition. Quite a bit of wear to the paint. Missing one cap. And they slide on the spindle.

Can anybody suggest what may be wrong if I hear a grinding sound of metal on metal from my ATAC Alium's?
My cleats appear to be evenly worn and I've only been using the pedals since July
The left pedal which is where the sound comes from now only engages so my foot is almost brushing the crank arm, it cannot engage any further out like the right pedal
Thanks

Cleats in wrong shoe?

Time ATAC cleats can be swapped round for more float.

.........
How MUCH float?
-
• #746
17 degrees.

The number of TIME pedals that required maintenance on this topic is rather alarming.
-
• #748
Popularity = higher ratio of seemingly faulty units. Your alarm is simply reactionary.
Thanks Indra, will swap around see how it feels.

I've got a set of the cheap Aliums. I've used them for over a year on my CX bike for racing, every day commuting and longer rides. I've ridden in mud, dirt, sand, gravel, grass, rain and whatever else. I've had no problems with them.
