I have a pair of roc and a pair of xs. I have the xs adjusted to max tension and they do feel much more secure than the roc's, I have unclipped from the roc's a few times.

The reason I bough the XC2 (new roc) over the Allium was because of tension adjust, was very disappointed when there was none.
I discovered this last night, the instructions said there was a tension adjuster and I spent ages looking for it.

Ah that's exactly what I did.

But then what happened?
Ooh the tension is getting to me, anyone else feeling it?

I went to evans and tried to return as I thought they'd deceived me or sold a defective product because both the official product pictures and the instructions show tension adjust.

Same here,
the Booklet is just the general new booklet that needs to be reprintedMaybe we should send a letter to them telling them this is BS we were miss old. I love em but I would like to adjust the tension as well.

I really want it, especially after unclipping several times accidentally, not just when skidding.

I started riding clipless with ATACS last night and I'm still pretty terrified of unclipping, they seem pretty secure though.

Use the alium tension adjust system - switch your cleats to the opposite foot.

yeah it actually suggests that in the booklet you get with them. I am planning to switch them over, I figured I would leave them as they were for a few days while I got used to clipping in and out.

That doesn't adjust release tension, just release angle though.

Yeah, they still bill it as being 'more secure'. The old plastic/carbon ones have been fine for me even with stupidly worn cleats.

shoes can make loads of difference, my dzr dices are far more secure than my diadora x country because the cleats are much deeper recessed. Harder to clip in yes, but feels much better once in.

I've been riding xc2's all weekend. Loving them so far.

I have popped out a few times with ATACs, snapped two sets of ROCs and a set of ALIUMs. Now on a set of old carbon plastic (the sweet yellow ones) wich I have un clipped with once on a big hill bomb. What is one to do? Ride shimano? Haha, I dont think so. I think the problem is that these really arnt designed for skidding on (no clipless peddals are). Putting that much load on them one is always going to run the risk of the occational unclip.
It could be worse, we could all be riding on eggbeaters....

I really like the look of the S-Track pedals, anyone used them?

I thinkI'm buying them when my xc2s go.
+1
They're all heavy. They're all good.
