Getting up early quickly got dropped from my plans.
I went to the Tour of Britain instead and got pissed with the Norths crew.

It's a nice pub but £4.20 for a pint of heineken is a piss take of epic proportions.

Yeah but just learn by my mistake and get an Amstel instead for £3.50...
If you're worried about price, go up to Burnley for a night out, pints are still around the £1.50 mark last time I went home! Pound-a-Pint on a Wednesday night actually!

The Kenton is a nice pub on many levels but shame about the bike security. I like my steed to be witihn easy view. My Pie was ace. It's all gravy bruv....

Was the general consensus that we go to the Orwell next week? Mr BQ please enlighten us.
I had quite a few pints (£3, puure looxury. I know it's like only 30 to 50p cheaper per pint but you really notice it) so my memory is a bit sketchy.
I also seem to remember that JohnH, Jimbilly, JoeGarcia and myself were going to start a Beard Racing league....
