I am gutted (literally, see my previous posts) that I couldn't go on the memorial ride and to easts afterwards last night.

Mr Billy, considering some of the previous turn outs this year 6 peeps ain't that bad, and the weather turned to shit later on.

Sure, it's better when it's a big night but it's still a good laugh even when the numbers are small. You take the good with the not so good, like your favourite footy team.

And you, Mr Slain, if you're going to make comments like that one above I suggest you actually TURN UP to the drinks in question and find out for yourself.*

it is easts second birthday party next week - wednedsay 31 march 2010 at the usual venue.

strictly speaking the anniversary was last night but somebody et al did not get their act together.

so next week is a party so come on down and celebrate and see your mates and meet some new ones.

an order for a cake has been placed with our own famous pastry chef - t-court.

it would be great to see all the polo crowd and all the tt riders.

I am in Chicago at the moment but it I might make a rare appearance for this given I will briefly back in London then. Mind you I don't have a bicycle at the moment as I sold all of them when I moved out of my flat in order to go traveling.

I reckon we can guarantee good weather, some cigars, a TT, and all that shit. Plus drinks tunes and the Raleigh chopper. and cake, obviously. and laughing at the brit=milf-it runners.

I've currently crippled myself but if I manage to make it along on Wednesday I can.

My crippling turned out to be a broken leg. But seen as though it a special occasion I'm gonna devise some way to allow me to roll over there next Wed, might even knock up a guinness cake and make it a bake off since I've got a fair bit of free time on my hands now.

In that case I'm going to make jelly, well proper jelly in disposable cups and then maybe spray cream or custard. Probably both.

So no excuses.

Will he pub be alright with us bringing food?
