After-worker spring ride

with Hackney Cyclists and Tower Hamlet Wheelers

When? Wednesday March 24th
Meet? 6pm ON the Green Bridge, Mile End Road (Tower Hamlets) or 6.30pm outside Hackney City Farm, Hackney Road (Hackney Cyclists)

Event? This will be a 3-4 mile social ride at a gentle pace.

We start by looking at the junctions of Goldsmith Row, Hackney Road and Colombia Road to see how this could be improved for cyclists, continue for 3-4 scenic miles taking in sights in both boroughs until we reach the roundabout in Victoria Park Road where we will lay flowers for Shivon Watson. Shivon was killed whilst cycling to work from her flat in Bow to the Fairbridge charity in central Hackney on Wednesday 10th March. We will end at the nearby Royal Inn on Park at 9:00 pm.

No idea where that one is but on the east side of Viccy park there's an Irish pub called Top O' The Morning.
The Britannia is nice, the food is equally as gastroey and pricey as the Royal Inn though.

Are you sure you weren't drinking in all these pubs on your way over?
