Were it to be resurrected,
I was intending to bring over some of NW London's finest Vegan Rolls.
(Not that platter, a couple of the individual £1.99 rolls).

I'm all for the Mermaid, and very happy to meet there tomorrow if you fancy the ride, but declaring it the next permanent venue needs more votes. Obviously, it would help people decide if they'd actually experienced it. :)

Is @dbr planning on making a rare appearance at Easts or just influencing the pub choice?!

It's a bit of a trek from his place to be fair. I'm not sure I've been since it got the new name but I've heard it's good. I have swimming training on Wednesday nights though so going to zombie Easts is difficult.

I am also a bit crook though at the moment so if I don't make it to that I might swing by.

Spare a thought for me, it's at least 200m more from my house. That's miles, not metres, of course.

And on the old North-east vs. Easts theme, if anyone has a suggestion for a pub that actually is East and not North-east, I think that would be good. We did think about the King's Arms off Bethnal Green Road for a while but there wasn't any cycle parking at the time, which I hear has improved. But let's do the Mermaid tomorrow. We could always start North-easts. :)
