Surely you do know that it give you an extra hand position with a brake hood regardless of the lack of working brake!
aaand this next picture, normally I don't really care, but it is an Holdsworth;
with a regular, understated wheelset this would be steath, functional, theft resistant, winter hack porn

man you're nuts with all that mixing it up. but seriously, the difference is that the changes you have made are somewhat practical and beneficial in some way. not just because it looks cool for school.
I'm crazy me :^)
I suppose we all have our pet dislikes. I've never liked risers on frames designed narly exlusively with aerodynamics in mind.

functional? look at the lack of strap and the high gear inches!

^^
true.
ok its def not porn but what I was getting at is that with minor adjustments, it would be very servicable. -

Totally.
As Ed pointed out it needs better foot retention (and brakes IMHO), and the mudguards look a little to new for the frame. But its the wheelset thats killing it. -

The thing about building a good looking bike, is that sometimes bits work that shouldnt, like risers on a Lo Pro, technically antiporn, but sometimes they look just right, and ride comfy too - most antiporn is when people see something they like on one bike, and then apply it to another bike where it looks gash, in an all the gear no idea way of thinking, like super deep rims on a path racer.
Of course this refers to aesthetics only, as many an anti porn bike is function before fashion, and work better for their intended function than most bikes in the porn thread - in fact i would guess that more of the bikes in this thread are better for riding around London than those in the porn thread - take pengy, probably a great commuter

But...what about all the tests and research done around *fixxies*™!?!
I think you're missing the point, *fixxies*™ are too cool for school.not if they are conversions with track drops or brakes removed for kudos. then they are just trying too hard. that's the conclusion i drew from all the analysis and debate i have studied on the internet anyway.
