I got no problem with banter, I was just curious as to what people drank and I got shut down for drinking instant coffee, which I gurantee 95% of you lot drink regardless of what coffee houses you drink in or whether your a regular at "look mum"

That I guess was the point - we all (well I do) drink instant, so it was some banter and nothing more? Sorry if it has caused offence

You gotta make the most of instant because yeah it's not great, I've found a few good ones, I'd grind coffee all day if I could find the time.

I have a cup of instant two or three times a week when I genuinely can't be arsed to make a brew. Does a job.

I don't get the time to make a proper brew at work, instant has to do for me during the day and ill enjoy some nice ground coffee at the weekend and in the evening

I've never tried instant, but I grew up smelling Postum.
This is largely why I abstained totally from coffee 'til I was 40.

I got my supply from Pact the other day and loaded up my stovetop on my campingaz porta stove at work. I've just discovered that freshly ground beans taste different, much more involving than regular supermarket beans, which I like nonetheless. But holy crap dudes, I went on some sort of caffeine rush. Man, that morning shot had me rushing off my tits. I had to eat some cheese and calm myself down a bit. I wasn't even able to get my shit back together with my daily dose of yoga. Thinking that this might just be some one-off experience I had a second shot in the afternoon and once again turned into some meth-fiend. Whilst I'm loving the fresh roast coffee, I'm not sure if my body, mind and colleagues can take the rush that comes as part of the deal. I actually sounded like Cartman at one point, yelling at Titchmarsh about his 'Goddam Petunias' as if I knew about horticulture. Tomorrow I must make him a shot of this stuff by way of apology.

I never liked coffee until quite recently, apart from in cakes, as all I'd tried was instant and it tastes like shit mostly. Got made some asda smartprice instant at work the other day, it tastes like shit. Nice coffee is nice however.

I have, and am very happy, with this one: http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/food-and-drink/features/the-10-best-coffee-grinders-2312069.html?action=gallery&ino=9
Cost a bit more than the MC2 though.

if you can stretch to it the vario is highly thought of by a number of us too (at nearly 3x the price of the mc2 though)
