Maybe a long shot, but any suggestions for good coffee spots in or around Adeje, Tenerife?

“No, sorry I’m not going to ruin your drink. There is a costa just round the corner”
Barista didn't feel like spending 20 seconds explaining why they don't sell boiling latte instead of being a pretentious cunt?

TBH It’s a small city and I’m guessing this isn’t their first interaction.

Funny thing is, the hotter you go the quieter the steam wand gets. And the cups frequently hold 96C americanos.

Waste of 20 seconds. These people don’t want to know.

• #28609
I mean, I know coffee is a bit of a niche hobby, but we don't have to completely alienate everyone else.

What does that mean? That the plebs don't deserve 'nice' coffee? That they're too stupid to understand why you might not want to raise the temperature of milk to that that degree?

Good times. I remember racing to finish my Baby Millennium at about 2am and wired up the polarity on the relay in reverse. So painful...

The problem with this is that Costa’s coffee is absolute shit, whereas good espresso with extra hot milk is still a good coffee to someone who usually has extra hot milk. Not to mention supporting a company owned by Coca Cola vs an independent.

Mounted (with cable ties for now), auto tune ran and offset set to -8 which I think is approx if memory serves! Looking forward to getting stuck into learning more this time round!

Yeah I don't get that either. I made plenty of skimmed milk mochas & decaf single espressos in my time as a barista.
You're getting paid to make drinks for people, there's no need to be a prick about it. Now, if I thought someone was a first time visitor and asked for sugar in their latte, I might recommend they give it a try without sugar first as we use pretty decent coffee. Some would take the offer, some wouldn't, and that's perfectly fine. Some people want scalded milk that's bitter as shit and pour in a bucketful of sugar to counteract that, so be it.

Ha, was just about to go looking for the wiring diagram - I assume you don't need it now?
I still need to fit the pump dimmer, LEDs (lol), and super steam mod to mine.
How much did the PID kit cost, all in? I assume it's cheaper than buying a shades kit,
