  • You could email Square Mile and check what shops have it in, to be sure before making the trip.

  • Check Kaffeine on Gt Titchfield St

  • Does anyone know where I can buys some Square Mile sweetshop in London? I know Square Mile don't sell direct apart from online...

Pitch 42 on Whitecross St market had some about 2 hours ago (they'll be shut now, but back on monday).

I think the giddyup stall in the park around the corner from Whitecross St had some too.

I saw some in store st espresso earlier in the week. call or tweet to check.

  • LMNF had some (although this was a while ago)

  • Prufrock have Sweet Shop for sale, and also brew it very well.

  • Cheap, badly spelled Gaggia coffee grinder for beginners:

  • realised yesterday my 'horse' won in the hasbean sweepstakes, should be getting a voucher for a free bag of coffee tomorrow :-D

  • Might be worth trying one of the new Kenyans or the new Yirgacheffe which he has in.

I'm going to buy those next.

  • thinking of upgrading to one of these...

  • Looks like me faithful old Bezzera is on it's last legs :^[

anyone got anything interesting, high end, tank fed that they're looking to get rid of?

Izzo, rocket, expobar kind of thing…

  • Thanks to all above who made grinder suggestions... may go with TTM's choice from Happy Donkey. Looks suitable for a relative novice and my fairly low frequency requirements...

I have this just now. I'm giving it a good stew in the Aeropress, and this brings out the honey flavour. Might sound a bit odd, but it really does. I probably brewed the plunger about 3/4 full and added milk. Is nice!

I'm interested about the Rwandan. I've never had one.

I'm going to order the other two Africans maybe tonight, and will report back later.

  • My second bag of the Finca de Licho arrived today. Found it to be great in both aeropress and gaggia. Others sound worth a try but I'd be wired.

  • ^ I think that one is actually listed as having a honey flavour. What I didn't really get with the La Perla though, was much of a fruit flavour, not that it mattered.

Wayno - worth repairing? Or are the parts going to be too dear?

  • HB Yirgacheffe, Kenyan, Filter Blend and Brasilian Espresso Perfetio on order. Weeeeeeeeeee!

  • Oof. Lovely.

Wondering if it's just diminishing returns gaffer.

It's a new pump and various bits that'll be about 200 notes I reckon

  • Which Bezzera have you got Wayne?

  • BZ99

It's been a great machine to be fair

  • Feck. Seen them for sale in the US for $2k USD. Have you spoken to London Espresso? They do parts and also do the refurb work and may be worth a call at least.

I used them for my Brugnetti spares.

  • That was pretty much my thinking, it's got to be worth throwing a little at it to see if you can get it working properly again.
If you're set on a new machine I'll take it off your hands for a knock down price of 0.01 Great British Pounds, seeing as it's knackered.
