sort of. but now the site is loading (it wasn't last night)
was going to say, if you do know exactly the combination you want, the espresso room will put it together for you and swap the bits from the other colour combinations they have on display.

i might have a look if i'm passing but i guess the likelihood of them having the colours i want is a bit slim.

This was the beginning of my Hawksmoor breakfast this morning - a Chemex Ethiopian Yirgacheff paired with a Black Velvet
The flavours were actually quite complimentary.
I followed that up with a full English Hawkmoor style (including bone marrow).
Awesome

I am in Brisbane... Lori's parents have a Nespresso machine... I am in Myers, a big Aussie department store, at the Nespresso concession... It is like a fucking cult over here...
Well strange...

I had Hasbean's El Salvador San Jose bourbon on the filter bar in the shop at the weekend and it was so sweet with bold ripe cherry. Lish.
Pourover, 18g, 250ml water, about 2 mins.
just cracked this open to help me through a long evening, lovely. thanks for tip off.
aeropress, ~ 1 scoop (edit scales now on xmas list), full water (edit decided to measure "full" = 250ml, handily), ~ 1 min (not v.precise I know!)

Is the aeropress just a french press/cafetiere sort of thing thing that pushes the hot water through the coffee? A cooffee pot.
Looking on the internet at the reverse brew method it sesms like that to me.
-
• #5070
^ sort of
-
• #5071
Without the mess and the coffee being over stewed.
-
• #5072
also no manky residue in the bottom of your cup.
aeropress > french press

Just about to tuck into an El Salvador from Hasbean... I like my coffee but I have a lot to learn. Slowly being mentored by the resident coffee geek at work.
-
• #5074
I got my father a twelve week coffee subscription for Hasbean for Christmas, to go with a Porlex grinder and a Vesuviano electric mocha pot thingie.
Reckon the Vesuviano is a weak link?

What are his current standards for coffee? If it's instant then you'll be fine. If he owns a £15k 3 boiler coffee machine then you are stuffed.
We've got quite a few at lmnh.
