The Parisians call it a "fuck you, Engleesh".
And then they drink their coffee from a bowl. Vive la différence.
I love drinking my coffee from a bowl (Mrs Brave is french and thus we are an franglo house).

This talk of bom bom's reminds me of bombardinos that I have drink whilst skiing in the dolomites. Coffee, advocaat and rum (I think), the perfect hit when you are cold and low on energy. Very far from purist coffee, mind.
I'll see if I can find a recipe.

Withnail: Have you got soup? Why didn't I get any soup?
Marwood: Coffee.
Withnail: Why don't you use a cup like any other human being?
Marwood: Why don't you wash up occasionally like any other human being? -

I'm not 100% convinced but I'd like to try one in Spain before I judge the drink based on my own attempts. I've made the hole in the milk can bigger so it pours quicker which seems to help. Need to try a few different ratios too.

hippy, that looks tasty. I'm gonna have to go on a mission to delancey street tomorrow now..
Speaking of which, that guy does one of the best beans, its the Ethiopian one. Really mild but totally flavoursome and yummy.
I got some Cuban stuff from him once but it was stronger than crystal meth.
Bialetti FTW.

That's a good looking bombon Hippy, you're unlikely to find a better one in Spain, I drink it because the condensed milk obliterates the nasty robusta coffee you get in most cafes. The only difference is I think they tend to pull the shot onto the milk.
I was speaking to Steve from Hasbean on Friday and he's just sealed the deal to supply Fernandez & Wells who have been using, er,Darlington''s coffee lately. He's struck up a real fancy blend for them, it'll be cool to get that coffee in a great cafe because as far as London is concerned Hasbean has been a well guarded secret amongst home coffee buffs who are inclined to get coffee mail-order.

well i was only going to take it apart and clean it and polish the ally top but just noticed there is a split in the wood on the top, this is not major though and going through the motions it seems to be working just fine. the grade of grind can be altered by moving a lever once the drawer is taken out
