Considering your geometry is not compact, I'm not surprised.
Ha, I mean just imagine me riding a Langster or something...

Thanks for the compliment.
The geometry is actually less tight than my previous pista for a bit more comfort on road.
The guys at Condor put it together in the end rather than me forking out for a Royce BB tool.
I have to say, compared to my Condor it rides like the roads have all been re-surfaced.

Nice Burls
Condor need to hold back on the spacers, every bike that comes out of there is over-spaced :)

they do that to give you leeway and you can try out different heights and then cut down the steerer to the desired length.

True, but not many bankers cut carbon steerers ;)
Fail rate for carbon steerers increases with overspacing

Finally finished....
thats making me really excited for mine, hopefully i will hace mine finished by mid december or early january

We do the same thing at BC with the spacers, but offer to cut it down for them when they come in for their first free check up. Seems to work ok, as there is nothing more depressing then cutting your fork too short and being stuck with it that way forever.

Fail rate for carbon steerers increases with overspacingBankers would obviously have the shop cut them.
Got the stats for that failure rate claim then?

Who needs stats. An irrational fear of carbon failure seems to be enough for most people.
