Rocket Rons are good as a rear tyre with a more aggressive front for winter riding. I wouldn't put them on the front for a winter race though. Nics or something else.

You could get away with it. But I wouldn't fork out £30 for a 1.85".

Looks like that's an old model. There's newer model with Snakeskin sidewall prptection for ~£35 in 2.25.

I used to have lots of spare SPDs and ATACs but stock levels have dwindled :)
I probably should piss them off - doesn't look like I'll move away from midfoot now.

they are black. work in clerkenwell, happy to cycle up to pads on lunchtime or meet halfway or whatevs is easy.

Got a pair of 26" hope / stans / nobby nics you can use if ya desperate. 2.2" I think, front and rear.

Rear is an Arch rim so more likely to survive the more 'powerful' gent.
