Nice tiny wheels Malaysian.
JB pls, would return troll but ecr makes it too easy.
You should bring it up north for a Sunday mtb session before you head off, we could go gisburn... You can compare your hipster off road tourer and my baby wheels, see what you think.
Or there's a really nice ride up and over the dales from settle to skipton.

Put some gears on my bike for a change, had a bit of trouble with the eccentric bracket but seems to work, went to Aston yesterday but the wrong one ended up in Lower Aston, but still fun
Liked the ride so much that I'm getting rid of everything else

Tomorrow I have a (tiny) car and a mountain bike. I live in Bromley. What should I do? I've never been to South/North Downs before - are they far and are they worth it? If not, anywhere else good?

Go to Peaslake (North Downs) and follow some riders. There will be loads of people there, just rock up and go for a ride. What do you ride?
How weird, there's a pic of my mate in the bus shelter.

^ Definitely worth going to Peaslake. I used to really enjoy riding the trails around there ( before it was cool ) on a regular basis.
That was long before I started riding a H.O.R.T™

Anywhere in particular to head to?
-

yes, peaslake village, there's a carpark, a shop and loads of bikers. It's in the middle of the north downs, just go and explore

Hmm. According to Google it's about 30 minutes from Ikea Croydon, where Mrs Sparky needs to go tomorrow. Maybe I can drop her off, drive over, ride, and pick her up. Although I guess she'd need to be in there for a good 4 hours to make that work.

It's difficult to find your way out in less.

And I can ask her to pick up some inverse shims or stripy paint to buy another few minutes.

Google is lying.

If you did it in under an hour, you've done well.

am currently replacing a chain on my mtb
9 speed 11 - 34 teeth sprocket
the old chain had hg and 5k on alternating links
am looking for new chain but would like a quick link if at all possible
whats is recommended ... apart from not getting a quick link !! -
• #5917
or maybe just this

10-speed chain works on 9-speed drive trains, so take you pick according to your own prejudice. If I didn't already have a drawer full of spares, I'd buy Wippermann 10S0
Wiggle £22.49, forum gets money
Tredz if saving yourself 84p is important
ACycles if you're buying several -

5701 chains are still crazy cheap at ribble. No quick link - just a special pin - but at that price you'll still come in cheaper.

does anyone have 2 x 185mm post mounts for sale ?
and point me towards some decent 185mm rotors that are going cheep cheep currently ? -
• #5921
I believe I have one. Singular. Mount. Not rotor. You can have it if it works for you.
