The Rons went onto the rims fine, but then we had the same issue I had with the Marathon+ the bead wouldn't seat properly, got there in the end but I wouldn't want to do it while out on a trail

I find High Rollers lack traction up hill and the profile I find makes them a bit odd in the corners which I put down to there being a considerable gap between the central and side knobbles, as with most Maxxis tyres. Awesome braking and good casing though.

Conti Mountain King on the back and Rubber Queen on the front, both tubeless. Front is 18months old, never been deflated, never punctured. Rear only replaced because I wore it out, also never punctured.

The Continental Rubber Queen had to be renamed the Trail King for the US market cos they thought yanks wouldn't ride such a perverse sounding tyre.

Just been looking at tyres, and I see Schwalbe have deviated from their usual alliterative names to call their new XC tyre Thunder Burt
Looks like it might be my next tyre -

That'll be good for the new swinley motorway surface.

That does look good, decent shoulder knobblies with a fast centre. As gabes said, perfect for Swinley. What have you got at the moment Tester?

As gabes said, perfect for Swinley.
That's what I was thinking, and the Jubilee River is a similar surface without the corners or elevation changes.
What have you got at the moment Tester?
10 year old Continental Vertical Pro UST.

That bike's looking awesome gabes, how you finding those pedals? how long have you had them?

Bike is boss mate, that Zee mech is great. The pedals are great, I really like them. Just been to Sierra Nevada in Spain with it, and it's super fucking steep and tech there, 30%+ descents, drops, super sketchy rock gardens, loose and rocky, so was great to have platforms and not be clipped in! The bearings are great too, better than most other Crank Bros pedals. £110 though, but they're red, so it's ok.

Just about to go to Swinley
weird, the ralphs went on with no tools, give them a go. Don't you get a lot of pinch flats at that pressure? You ride in Wales don't you? Or are you running them tubeless?
